Blenheim is a town in Marlborough, in the north east of the South Island of New Zealand. The area which surrounds the town is well known as a centre of New Zealand's wine industry. It enjoys one of New Zealand's sunniest climates, with hot, relatively dry summers and crisp winters.
The population of Blenheim township is approx 28,000. Originally a farming community, it has now expanded to now be geared up towards urban lifestyle and the dominant wine industry.
